Doolittle Event

Doolittle Event

Join us at Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor as we mark the 75th Anniversary of the Tokyo Raid (Doolittle Raid) with author Jonna Doolittle Hoppes, granddaughter of General Jimmy Doolittle, who led the pivotal Tokyo Raid.

Jonna will discuss the Tokyo Raid and the brave men who, under her grandfather's leadership, inspired a nation and changed the course of World War II. The event is provided at no cost, and teachers who register their classes will receive a free copy of one of Jonna's books, Just Doing My Job or Calculated Risk, as well as a corresponding curriculum to use before or after the event. Students are encouraged to prepare questions for the Q&A session in advance.

Funding for bus transportation will be provided if requested. Please indicate on your registration if you would like assistance with bus funding.

Please note: seats in our theater will be assigned based on who has registered first. Once the theater has been filled, additional registrants will be seated in our overflow seating room with a live feed of the event.
